From a young age Rachel has forged styles that embrace the whole woman – from sophisticated chic to Bohemian beauty. Rachel’s background stems from her family heritage of ethnic dressmaking and her own love of tribal cultures and vintage fabrics.

From the outset, Jipsi Cartel was a boutique with a difference. An eclectic mix of handmade womens garments designed using amazing fabrics collected from travels across the globe. Over time, Rachel has crafted her own line that showcases unique block prints, Mehndi patterns and relaxed feel. The Jipsi Cartel label is now complemented by a range of brands that share our ethos of sustainability, fair trade and eco friendliness, as well as being beautifully stylish and comfortable to wear.

Jipsi Cartel fabrics are natural, floaty and designed to feel amazing. We are proud to support sustainable clothing manufacturing and ethical production. Our garments are crafted from fabric that is breathable, good for you, and good for the environment. All involved in creating our label are paid equitably – from our local fabric block printers, to our seamstresses, to our delivery partners – all receive a fair, liveable wage. When you wear Jipsi Cartel you may do so with good conscience – as well as looking and feeling great.
