Murkani

Murkani was started in 2013 by Australian designer Kiralee McNamara with a few hand drawn sketches.
Having worked in the corporate world for many years, it was Kiralee’s dream to create her own everyday luxe jewellery range. Murkani is the result of that dream. Murkani is handcrafted, contemporary jewellery with a bohemian aesthetic. Designed to be mixed and matched and layered. Designs are inspired by Kiralee’s love of architecture, art and travel. Drawn by repetitive patterns found in locations such as Morocco, Turkey and India, most pieces feature decorative elements combined with a hammered, organic finish.

MURKANI work with suppliers that provide a good working environment and good working conditions to highly skilled artisans that use traditional and modern techniques.  Natural materials that are long wearing are used, with the view of making our impact on the earth more sustainable.
